EMDRIA CEs and EMDR Consultation

EMDRIA CEs

The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) has accredited Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TICTI) as a Provider of EMDRIA CE (continuing education) Programs. Our EMDRIA CE Provider Number is 01008.

EMDRIA CEs are only earned after the initial EMDR Therapy Training is completed. Those who have completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Therapy training program are eligible to receive EMDRIA CEs. You have not completed that program until all requirements are met, including the 10 hours of consultation.

Those who have only completed part of the EMDR Therapy training are not eligible to receive EMDRIA CEs. However, they may still be eligible to attend the workshop.

12 EMDRIA CEs are required (along with other things) for earning EMDR Certification, an advanced credential offered by EMDRIA. 12 EMDRIA CEs are also required for maintaining/renewing the Certification.

When you receive the 12 EMDRIA CEs in conjunction with a PC training program, the EMDRIA CEs are for the portion of the workshop that is called, for EMDRIA CE purposes, “Trauma Informed Therapy.”

For workshops, there is no need to request EMDRIA CEs; the documentation appears on all certificates of completion in the designated programs.

For home study programs, EMDRIA CEs must be specifically requested during the registration process.
