Progressive counting (PC) is a new trauma treatment developed by Dr. Greenwald, based on the counting method, that so far appears to be at least as effective and efficient as EMDR, well tolerated by clients, and relatively easy for therapists to learn. Progressive Counting Within A Phase Model of Trauma-Informed Treatment teaches a clear rationale and a systematic approach to trauma-informed treatment. The content and methods are research-supported and proven effective. The trauma resolution procedure, Progressive Counting, is efficient, effective, relatively easy to master, and well tolerated by clients.
